Meiji jingu

Meiji Jingu is a Shinto shrine. Shinto is called Japan's ancient original religion
Emperor Meiji and his consort Empress Shoken  are enshrined.

Sanctuary
The entrance of Meiji jingu is 1 min on foot from Harajuku station.
There is rich nature though it is a Shinto shrine in the center of a city.

Meiji Jingu is known as a shrine where the numbers of top in Japan visit in New Year's.
